...everyone told me it would. Kelsey cut her own hair. She came running to me so proudly exclaiming "Mom, look what I did!" I was in shock, and I gasped and said "NO no no you can't do that!". Then she started bawling because she felt so guilty. It's actually not so bad though. You can barely tell. Thank goodness her hair was so long.
We celebrated Cam's 30th birthday a couple weeks ago. We went tobogganing and then had some friends over. I bought him the game "Settlers of Catan". We've been a bit hooked on that lately. It's fun.
We've been working like mad trying to finish the 2 bedrooms and bathroom downstairs. We've got 3 high school students from Nigeria coming to room and board with us! They arrive on Jan 29th, and we've got tons of work to do. We've hired some help to do the mudding. They should be done by tomorrow, then I can get painting. On Friday the carpets are being installed. Then just doors and trim, toilet and sink, and furnishing the rooms. It seems impossible, but I know we can do it. We have to. :)
I'm really excited but a bit nervous too. Not sure what to expect, and I've never cooked for 7 people on a regular basis!
Since last October Cam and I have been youth leaders at our church. There are 3 other leaders too, which has made it quite a flexible and enjoyable experience.

Yeah, Settler of Catan is a fun game that we learned to play up at the YWAM base!! Our guys will have to challenge you. =)
