This is the first rainy day we've had in a long time, so it's the perfect day to stay indoors and blog.
Can't even think of what has happened in the last month--I'm so forgetful. My days are flying by and I don't even know what I did at the end of the day.
Leah is 2 months already. She's alot more fussy than Kelsey was. She likes to be held all the time which is impossible, so I listen to alot of irritating cries/squawks. She doesn't like pacifiers and I thought that was great because then I wouldn't have to wean her from one...but I think I'm going give in and to try and find one she likes just to keep my sanity on some days! I'm realizing this blog is sounding negative and that's not my intention! I'm really enjoying my 2 girls. Kelsey is a wonderful help. I get such a kick out of her. It she hears Leah crying, she go running to find her saying "Oh my gosh--Leah's cwyin'!" She has even come outside several times to tell me Leah's crying while I am watering the garden.
Had the first set of immunizations today. 4 needles! Leah barely cried.
We tried to go camping on Canada Day weekend, but by the time Cam got off of work, all the campsites were booked. Instead we spent 2 hot afternoons at "My Beach". It is a sandy beach on the Beatton River only 15 min from town. Cam had told me about it before but I was skeptical of there being any sandy beaches around here. I was wrong! Don't get the wrong idea. It's nothing like the beaches of California or Hawaii, but it's a beach none the less! We had a great time down there. The water is really shallow and warm, and there's barely any current.
Our driveway has not changed since my last post. We realized our gas line runs right under the garage so we have to get it moved. Of course the PNG guy didn't show up for over 2 weeks. But he finally came and the line will be re-routed on Tuesday. Then Cam can resume his work.
On Friday night it was Terry's birthday party. (Happy birthday to Warren too!). We had supper at mom's and then went to see Pirates of the Caribbean.
Our garden is really taking off with this rain.
That's it for now!
