38 weeks

This is my 38 week shot.  I'm not feeling like a beached whale, although I know I'm big.  I'm 42" around the waist, which is very comparable to my last 2 pregnancies.  I was 40.5 with Kelsey, and 42 with Leah.   I am feeling done with this pregnancy now though.  Simply getting around anywhere is increasingly difficult.  My hips and pelvis are sore when I walk, and sleeping is very uncomfortable.   On Friday when I looked in the mirror I did a doubletake, because I was sure the baby had dropped.  My belly just looked different suddenly, and that's also around when I noticed pain in my pelvis which could be more pressure from the baby?  I don't know for sure though.... the books say except for first pregnancies, the baby drops at the onset of labour, which might mean I didn't drop.   Thankfully time is still going fairly fast for me.  I'm keeping busy making my Christmas cards and I still have shopping to do.  And the kids are distracting too.  :)

I'm done work now and I've slept in until 9:30-10ish for the last 2 mornings, which hasn't happened for months!  I'm going to enjoy that as much as possible before I get back into night feedings and early mornings.  

I appreciate Cam...he's been going to work at 6am each morning and banking the first 2 hours each day so that when baby comes, he'll have at least 2 paid days off.
