My dear husband

My husband surprised me on Thursday night with a present--an MP3 player. I was so ecstatic because I have been telling him a lot lately that I would like one for running. He had bought it as a Mothers Day gift but as soon as he got it home, he didn't want to wait 6 weeks to give it to me :) So on Friday morning I was actually excited to go for a run! And listening to the music helped out greatly. Then on Saturday my foot began to hurt and it just got worse over the weekend, I felt myself limping a lot on Sunday. I felt fine while I was running, so I'm not sure what happened. It's quite a bit better today. Cam was so wonderful--on Saturday night we watched a movie and I had my feet soaking in my Dr. Scholl's foot bath. He brought down a kettle of hot water and made sure my foot bath stayed warm, and after that he gave me a wonderful foot massage. Thanks, honey!

Easter was nice. We had dinner at our house on Sunday. My mom brought over homemade perogies and farmer sausage.

Leah is 11 months old now. She has changed a lot over the last month. She says 2 words, "kitty" (pronounced dee-dee) and "uh-oh". Ever since she's been able to move around so well she is so much more content. It is wonderful. She can play by herself for long periods of time now. My little explorer.

My maternity leave is up at the end of April. I have decided to go back to work. I have asked for 1 full day per week and a couple Saturdays per month. One of my friends has offered to babysit the kids at a much cheaper rate than daycare so I think I will take her up on that. It is such a blessing to be able to know and trust who is watching your kids.
