Birthdays and babies!

Here is the gift the Cam made for Kelsey...it's a big hit!

We've had a really busy past couple weeks. Sometimes I just want the day to be a bit longer. I start work next week, and I'm actually a little nervous about it. It's really hard getting motivated to go back after a year off!

My sister in law had her baby last week, and 2 days later my friend also had a baby. I love holding newborns. On Saturday it was Kelsey's 3rd birthday. We had a princess party for her. She had been requesting everything Cinderella for quite some time. It was fun. We had about 10 kids here, and their parents and some family, so it was a good turnout. 2 more weeks and I do it all over for Leah!

On Sunday our race team (dad, 2 bros, hubby and I) went for a run together. Although it was a nice leisurely jog for everyone else it seems, it really pushed me! We went 9km. I'm glad I did it but it wasn't an easy run for me. Towards the end my 2 long-legged brothers took off and were out of sight. I did it in 1 hour and 8 minutes.

Leah has a top tooth starting to poke through so she is a bit fussy. I find she doesn't sleep as well while teething.

It was so nice and warm here yesterday that I did my first bit of gardening. I pulled all the overgrown weeds by my tulips. I dug up lots of earthworms while at it, and Kelsey and I had a good time trying to find their other "family members". She really showed a lot of compassion for the worm if it was by itself. It was fun.
