It's gettin' hot in here!

What a weekend. Our furnace quit working on Friday. Didn't notice until about 11pm when I realized the thermostat temp was slowly dropping. Thankfully we've been having some warm weather. The nights got a little chilly--especially for the girls, so yesterday we packed up and went to my parents for the night. This morning it was 51 degrees in here. The heating guy came and fixed it in a jiffy. It was a clogged filter that made the limit switch shut off so he just had to replace the filter and switch. If I hear that word "CLOG" one more time...!

Leah is sick. It started yesterday morning. We skipped church and decided to have a nice breakfast at White Spot. As soon as we put the van in reverse Leah puked everywhere. Poor girl. We still went for breakfast though :) Continued puking/diarrhea throughout the day. Today she's better, but fevering a bit, and just overall not happy.

Cam and I have been watching a video series "Let the Children Come Along: Preparing for the Toddler Years". We're doing it with a small group from our church. We've been getting some good tips out of it. I'm trying to teach Leah some sign language.

Cam and I watched "Babel" on the weekend. It was alright. We both agree that our stomachs were in knots from stress throughout the whole movie. Does that mean the movie was good? We couldn't decide.
Last night we watched "Wild Hogs" at the theatre. Pretty funny.

Snow is melting like crazy around here! I'm so happy. With that comes wet/slushy/muddy roads. It is so dirty everywhere. Went for a run on Friday and got completely soaked just about up to my knees. I got to a place where there was a huge "lake" of water. The only way to get around it was to climb up the snowbank in the ditch--well, that was pretty bad too. As soon as I stepped in the snow my feet just sank into wetness anyways. Good practice I guess. Thankfully no one splashed me while driving by. It is a good season for that!
