Don't feel like I've had much to blog about lately.
Cam and Aaron's elk hunt was successful! Aaron got a nice bull elk. Cam had so much fun that he has to get an elk of his own now. He went hunting 3 times last weekend at Upper Cache, but no elk. He is convinced that floating down the Peace River is the way to go.
Happy belated Birthday to Kerry! Happy belated Thanksgiving to everyone. We had turkey dinner at our house on Sunday with Jeff & Kristy, Dad, Terry, and our friend Trevor. Mom was still in Abbotsford.
The roof of the garage is now finished. We're ready for windows and doors now.
We went to our friend Des' 30th birthday party on Saturday night. It was a big surprise for him. Heidi pulled it off nicely. It was held at the Shelter. There were lots of people and even a talent show! Cam was supposed to do a Napoleon Dynamite dance-off, but he got cold feet and backed out.
Nothing new with me. Just enjoying the girls. Yesterday we had Leah just roaring (laughing) while Kelsey and I were dancing to her Kids Bible Songs CD. Was lots of fun. Kelsey enjoys giving people time outs for 2 minutes for no reason at all.
Today Cam and I might go shopping for a new table. Our table is old and only seats 4 people. Thanksgiving dinner was very cramped. We managed to fit 7 people at the table (even used the computer chair), but there was no room for food! I can't wait to get a new one.

Just for the record the chair was Wonderful! and the table was not too cramped, maybe because I had the chair and it took up all the space :) One tip for the table, don't get one with vaneer (spelled wrong i think) get solid wood (it is more expensive but better in long run) because if the finnish gets all yucky you can re-finnish it, ours the vaneer is yucky already. Just a tip....
I'll put in my little piece about a table too...We just got a new one this summer and I love it! We bought a square table which seems to be the new style, at least down here. It seats 8 people really comfortably and takes us less room than our rectangular table that only sat 6. Plus we can add an extra leaf to it so that 10 people sit very nicely around it. When also got it in a hard wood because our last one was of pine and pretty much all we had to do was look at it and it would get a deep scratch in it. Have fun table shopping!
