September?

I had an awful night last night. This is how it went. I fell asleep around midnight...
1:11am- Leah woke up crying, so I gave her a soother
2:24am- Kelsey calls me telling me "My water's all gone", so I go in and explain that her cup has a straw and she must sit up to use it, not lay down. She takes one sip and falls back asleep.
3:54 am- Leah wakes up again, so I give her a soother
4:27am- I hear Leah again, but I ignore her and she goes back to sleep
5:35am- Cam gets up to go to the washroom (everything irritates me at this point)
6:30am- Leah is awake AGAIN, but I still ignore it.
7:00am- Cam's alarm goes off so I ask him to bring Leah to me so I can feed her.
7:30am-Leah is all fed up and content so Cam puts her back to bed and he goes to work. Now I can finally get a couple hours of sleep I hope!
7:48am- I had JUST fell asleep, and Kelsey wakes up crying because she peed her bed. I plop her on the couch, turn on the TV to Treehouse and I actually sleep until 9:00 until Kelsey wakes me up saying she wants breakfast.
Surprisingly enough, I actually feel good today. Hope that doesn't happen again though.

It's quite chilly here in the mornings now. Today was the first day that I actually tried to turn the heat on, but the pilot light is out on the furnace, so I have to wait for Cam.

We may go camping/hunting this weekend with 2 other couples. They have a log cabin to stay in which is nice, but we'll stay in out tent trailer. Unless it snows, of course. Cam and his 2 friends are going to hunt for elk. I never did get a moose...it's just too hard to hunt when you always need to find a babysitter. Takes the fun right out of it for me.

I never did go to the family reunion in Saskatchewan, but my mom and I did spend the weekend in Edmonton. It was nice. I did quite a bit of shopping, but Kelsey didn't nap at all on the trip and it made for some stressful times. She is now a big fan of Toys R Us. We were in there twice and she cried both times when we left.

I think Kelsey is officially potty-trained (knock on wood). Well, except for this morning, she has not had an accident for 2 weeks. It was a little challenging while we were travelling to Edmonton. We always had to stop for her. She very proudly went #2 on the shoulder of the highway one evening. She finally does it all by herself too--doesn't want me or Cam to be in the bathroom with her. I still need to help her put her clothes back on tho.

We finally have tomatoes coming! I've made 5 jars of pickles. I really enjoy canning.
