We're back...

We had a great time on our holidays! It was so nice to see Warren, Kerry, Lauryn and Brooke again. We were in New Brunswick for the first couple of days, then we all ( Jeff, Kristy & Hayley too) went to PEI for a week. Our cottage was really nice, and really close to the ocean. The week went by fast. We went to a couple different amusement parks, went to see Green Gables which was a high-light for me. I also went to the musical "Anne of Green Gables" in Charlottetown with Kristy, Kerry and Lauryn. I loved it! We 3 girls also had a "spa day" which was awesome. We all got hour long massages, and a pedicure and manicure. So fun, because we got to be together for the mani and pedi. The boys went on a Deep Sea Fishing trip and they had a blast. Caught a lot of mackerel, cod and herring. They kept a bunch of the mackerel but they forgot it in the freezer at the cottage! We drove to Cavendish, PEI quite a few times because there was so much to do there. I really liked it. On our last day we went to Cavendish Beach which is beautiful! I had a great time. Cam and I thought it was cool to be where there is fresh seafood everywhere. We had an awesome lobster dinner one night. Although Cam did have one bad clam dinner which left him puking that night. He seemed to be fine by morning though. (Now we know there is a difference between clams and clamstrips!)
After a tearful goodbye, we flew home on Monday morning. Kelsey was so good on all of our flights. She slept most of the time. We got to Vancouver at noon and had an overnight there, so we rented a car and stayed at a hotel near the airport. We were so tired, we barely did anything. Did a little shopping in Richmond, then we caught the 7:50 am flight home to FSJ. It's always nice to come home to your own bed and shower...so it's nice to be back too.
