Misadventures in Motherhood

We've been so busy lately. Seems every time I want to write in my blog I start reading everyone else's first. Takes a long time to get through them all! I have the night to myself as Cam is helping a friend lay sod. I've got 3 days off in a row this week which is especially nice since Kelsey isn't feeling well. It started on Monday with a high fever. Babysitter said she was really sleepy all day. She had a really bad night and on Tues her fever just wouldn't stay down. It was staying around 39.9 and she was so cranky and lethargic too. We decided to take her to the hospital but they said it was too soon to tell if there was an infection. Also there is a 7 day fever going around. Then this morning she seemed fine. I went to my Great-Uncle Henry's funeral this afternoon which was nice. Lots of family that I hadn't seen in awhile.
Then after I picked her up after working out, mom said she had been crying the whole time. And she didn't stop when we got home. She's been screaming and holding her mouth. Must be 2 teeth I see poking through. But it was kind of scary. She was VERY uncomfortable and didn't want anything. Impossible to please. Finally she fell asleep in my arms. She just woke up now and is taking her bottle which makes me glad.
Our house is so hot in the summer! I don't know how to keep it cool in here. Our thermometer is in Farenheit and we don't know how to change it to Celcius 'cuz there's no manual. Anyway it's up to 85 degrees in here and its hard to sleep at night! I feel I don't have much interesting stuff to tell so I'll sign off. Kelsey is quite content right now so I'm very thankful for that.
