Happy Days

The last week has past before my eyes! I must've had a good week.
I took Kelsey to her 1 year check-up, and of course the Dr. asks if she is walking... I tell him she can't walk yet but she's been cruising around furniture for nearly 4 months. He says that's fine and then he wants her to stand for him. Nope! She just goes limp and starts to cry. So I hold her and I try to get her to show him how strong her legs are--nope! Nothing. Just like jello. Little turkey. :)
Then she had 3 needles for her immunization on Wed morn, and she cut 2 new teeth in the last week. No wonder she's been a little cranky and very clingy.
Remember the fuel pump story? (Canadian Tire wouldn't take it back because it smelled like gas?) Well it's been sitting in our shed for the last month and now it doesn't smell anymore. So Cam asks me to go return it this time--I was very nervous that they'd remember the previous incident. But I got our money back without a hitch! We were so excited and felt like we had won some money so we bought a BBQ and some stuff for the yard (hoses, sprinklers). We're so happy about that! It was fun to have our friends come over tonite for a barbecue and to watch "The Contender". I love that show.
I work 3 full days this week, and the next 2 weeks I work fulltime! The extra money will be nice though. We need to save up money to buy a lawnmower. It's fun finally owning a house and buying all these things!
