Our camping trip from a few weeks ago was fun. Just one night and the girls did great. We even got to have a steak and lobster meal, so that was a highlight.
Cam has got a new job. It hasn't started yet--beginning of July. He'll be working for Points North Contracting. He actually used to work for them before we were married when he was a welder's helper. So it's kind of nice that he knows the management already. He'll mostly be working in the shop in town (which I like).
Other than that, doesn't seem like much is new. Sam Waters Project played at Carefest on the weekend. They did well. Maybe I'll post a pic of Cam doing that as well.
Leah is 13 1/2 months old. She has got 2 new teeth poking through this week finally, but she has a cold to go with it so she's been a bit fussy. No walking yet. I have seen her stand all by herself and then fall down when she realizes she's not holding onto anything. :) That must be a good sign.
Kelsey has a vivid imagination and I enjoy her stories she makes up. Yesterday she was telling me about her scary dream about a red dinosaur that kept stomping and broke the house. He woke up Kelsey and Leah, and she was scared because Cam and I were at the store. But the dinosaur was shy. :)
Doesn't make sense, but when do dreams ever??
I've promised the girls a walk to the park, so I better do it now.
