So that's the biggest news with us currently--the new dog! I am definitely a cat person so this is a stretch for me. I feel overwhelmed like I don't have a clue what to do with puppies. She is getting bored I think and chewing on Leah's toys and she wrecked the straw on Kelsey's cup. Cam insists that he will do all of the potty training and cleaning up her messes and taking her for runs, but so far he's at work all the time! She's pretty good so far though. Her and the cat love to play-fight. That's where she is getting her exercise from so far :) And she sleeps in the garage so I'm happy about that. She will definitely be an outside dog, but it feels mean always making a little puppy stay outside in the cold snow, so she's in the house a lot right now.
The church bought new electric drums, so Cam really wanted to buy the old drums and set them up in our garage. They were auctioned off, and unfortunately Cam didn't win. There was only 1 other bidder, and they were only allowed to place one bid each. Cam was very upset/disappointed last night.
We bought a camcorder a couple weeks ago. We are having tons of fun with that. I'm finding that I take less still pictures now, but I'm sure that the excitement of the video camera will wear off soon.
Leah is FINALLY rolling over! 7 months. As of last week she could only roll from tummy to back, but now she is going both ways. She has rolled across the living room twice now. She is so much fun. Very happy and she loves to shake her head. Whenever Cam and I do it she immediately copies us. It looks very funny.
Kelsey is very excited about Christmas. She really wants to open her presents and is constantly asking "What's in there?" If you ask her what she wants for Christmas she says "Makeup and necklace and rocking chair". We got 1 out of the 3! The cute little Disney princess rocking chair from the wish book.
I'm just finishing up wrapping all the presents and I think we're ready!
We've got Margo's dinner on Christmas Eve, my parents dinner on Christmas day, and we're having Cam's family at our house on Boxing day. Should be busy and fun.
Merry Christmas!!
