Well we got our garden planted. I'm excited to see that my peas and lettuce are already growing. I transplanted my cucumbers from the greenhouse into the garden and almost all died. Must've been a little too cold for them yet. We're learning as we go. Cam and I are both enjoying gardening so much.
Cam has got another job offer. It pays better, has better benefits, more hours (which might be too many), paid holidays...it's got everything he really wants. But--he JUST got promoted to foreman where he works at now. So he's stressed out about what to do. He doesn't have to make a quick decision so that's helping.
I moved Kelsey into a bed 2 months ago, and just last week it's as if she finally realized that she can get out of bed and play with toys/books instead of nap. She plays for awhile and then eventually goes to bed on her own. As long as I get a break in the day is all I really care about! She can finally open doors now too, so night time is a little more of a problem now. One night she kept opening her door and peeking out until Cam would see her, then she'd giggle and slam her door shut. It's hard to be serious when they do funny things.
Kelsey was sick last week. She had a high fever for 4 days and she was SO miserable. Glad that's over.
Leah is growing. I'm not sure what she weighs now--I see the Dr. this week. The last few nights she has slept 4 &1/2 - 5 hours. One time she slept 7 hours! I felt so alive that day! But it only happened once. She's finally starting to be awake more in the day. I don't remember Kelsey sleeping as much as Leah (in the day). It has made it nice and easy for me to get stuff done though.
On Saturday we went out to my dad's farm. Cam helped brand/vaccinate some calves. There were lots of people helping. Looked as though they were all having fun.
Last night we had supper at Charlie Lake with my parents. We had a wiener roast. Then we got kicked out by the Parks lady because there are no picnics allowed in the campgrounds. She let it slide this time. We didn't have to pay.
