Computer problems...

Sorry for the lack of bloggage lately. Our computer has decided to become dreadfully slow, so I don't even enjoy using it right now.

Our weekend in Banff was nice. It was just a nice break to not have Kelsey for a few days (although I missed her terribly). I didn't even have to sleep in the van! We made it to Hinton, AB the first night, and managed to get one of the last available rooms in the whole town! It looked fairly decent from the outside, but just as I was getting in bed I realized there were crusty stains on my blanket. It was already midnight and too late to complain, so I just dealt with it. Disgusting. Then, at 6am someone at the inn decided to take a bath which shouldn't be a big deal, but that motel has the loudest pipes I've ever heard. I woke up all startled wondering what the heck was happening! What a waste of $120, but hey, I think it was still better than the van. I'll never know.

I'd never been to Banff before. It was bigger than I thought, and full of people. Very busy. I enjoyed walking around checking out all the different shops. We went on the gondola one day, which I found very frightening. I just wanted to be at the top or bottom, no scary ride inbetween. Cam thought I was a nut because I wouldn't let him sit beside me because I was scared that it would be off balance. I know that's stupid, but that's how I was acting! On the way down we sat with another couple, and I was more at ease...at least I had to appear that way.
Unfortunately we never made it to the hot springs. We did enjoy the pool/hottub in the motel though. We also tried some Thai food for the first time. Very delicious! So all in all, good trip.

We've been busy since we've been back. I worked some full time the last couple weeks, which makes time fly. It was so cold the last 2 weeks, but now spring is officially here and it has warmed up. We still have lots of snow. I hope that's the last of it. I'm ready for rain showers and flowers.

I have not been able to sleep in lately which is actually kind of nice. I get up with Cam at 7am and I've found I just love doing my own thing until Kelsey gets up. It's 8:30 now and I can hear her talking to herself, so my time is almost up!
