I was going to blog this morning about how great I've been feeling lately but no sooner had I thought it, and a wave of nausea hit me and I was hovering over the sink. (I know I should do that stuff in the toilet, but the sink is much more appealing)!! Anyway, I'm 12 weeks pregnant now and I have been feeling pretty good. Up and down it seems. As long as I don't let myself get too hungry things are okay. I've been debating whether or not to post some pics of my belly, but we'll see. Right now I just feel fat, and I'm sure that's all it looks like too. I think it would kind of be fun though to keep you all updated on how I look. I don't really feel too pregnant yet although I got to hear the baby's heartbeat at my last appt. on Tues and that made it much more real.
Last weekend we spent at Jeff and Kristy's while the boys butchered their deer. I stayed waiting until 1:30am. Just as I was about to go home, Jeff and Cam asked if I would help wrap the sausage. Uggh...I decided to help because they were both so exhausted but if definitely wasn't my favorite thing. The smell of raw meat...now this sausage is in my deepfreeze and every time I open it I get a huge woft.
I was very busy this week. I took on a few extra hours again so one of the girls could go to an Oilers game. Then today, I babysat my friends 2 kids. But the kids are gone, and Kelsey is in her crib talking to herself. I'm really enjoying the quiet time.
Cam has been very tired lately. He has had to work 12 hour days for the past 2 weeks and he always has to get up at 5am. It wouldn't be so bad except he rarely gets to bed before 11:30-midnight. 2 mornings this week he was late for work. The first time it was my fault. The alarm went off at 5:00 and I quickly shut it off and went back to sleep. Woops. Then yesterday morning I did wake him up. He told me he was awake and that I could go back to sleep...next thing you know, he looks at the clock and it's 6:42am! Thanksfully he hasn't got in any trouble for it.
Tonight is the ArcTech Christmas party. Every year we go to Elenas Sports Center. There's a big buffet style Italian dinner, then there's a bowling tournament. Should be pretty fun.
