Cam's decision...

We're happy to announce that Cam has decided to stay with ArcTech Welding. His boss had a nice talk with him and told him how much they like his work and they need him...(Cam's head has doubled in size from all the compliments)! They also had plans of making him foreman in about 6 months, so Cam is very excited. We're both very much at peace with his decision to stay. They've always been really good to us. The unfortunate part was having to call back the other place that had hired him and tell them that he wasn't coming. They were not too happy with him.
Other than that, things are well. Jeff and Cam have been deer hunting together lately. Cam shot a buck on Remembrance Day. He's quite happy that he got a Whitetail. He was really bragging it up on the phone that it was huge, but when me and his friends saw it, it was smaller than we were expecting. We've been bugging him a bit but now I feel bad because he's already wishing he would've waited for a bigger one! I've been very firm saying that I don't want any deer in the freezer. I've never had a good experience with it. Now he's saying that whitetail tastes better than mule deer. I admit I have heard that before, but deer is still deer in my mind. Maybe I could handle some jerky or something. Jeff shot a big buck this morning but I'll let him blog about that. All I'll say is that Cam is slightly jealous!
We went to Grande Prairie yesterday. It was a wonderful day. We managed to get all our Christmas shopping done! It feels so good. We only went to Costco and Sears and we realized we had crossed off everyone on our list!
Better go, we just got a visitor
