Birthday Bash

I've had such a busy week, I am so exhausted today! We are having absolutely gorgeous weather around here--so sunny and warm.
Kelsey turned 1 year on Thursday! We decided to have some family and friends over for cupcakes that evening. On Saturday we had Kelsey's Winnie the Pooh party which was really fun. Just the right amount of people here. She had a more enjoyable time on Saturday since there were kids here. She loves Ethan (her 3 year old brother) so much...its so fun to watch them interact. Kelsey just laughs at everything he does.

Everyone left at about 5:00 and then Cam and I went down to the Beatton hills for a wiener roast/ hike with Jeff, Terry & Kimberly, and my dad. That was really fun too. Pretty tough hike to the top. Cam and dad took turns carrying Ethan on their backs which looked very tiring.

We got home at 9:00pm and hadn't even started cleaning up from the party. Uggh. But Cam did it all so that I could go to bed and read! That was so nice. I fell asleep so fast. We also skipped church today and have just been playing outside with the kids. We're meeting some friends for lunch today and possibly going running together. (I think it's too hot for that!!) But Aaron, Pam, & Cam all need to train for the Death Race. I think I'll just sit back and enjoy the sunshine :)
